These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the LORETANA website and the purchase of our jewelry. By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under EU and Lithuanian law.

2. PRODUCTS & MATERIALS

All LORETANA pieces are made from hallmarked 925 sterling silver, finished in rhodium or 14K gold plating, and set with AAAAA-grade cubic zirconia.

Cubic zirconia is a synthetic stone, not a natural gemstone. Colour descriptions used on our product pages — such as "emerald green", "ruby red" or "sapphire blue" — refer to the colour of the zirconia only, and do not indicate that the stone is an emerald, ruby or sapphire.

Plating is a surface finish and wears gradually with normal use. Pieces described as "14K gold" or "18K gold" refer to the plating, not to solid gold content.

Loretana pieces are designed and selected by Laureta and produced to our specification by our manufacturing partner. Every piece is hallmarked and inspected in Kaunas, Lithuania before dispatch. Loretana MB is registered with Lietuvos prabavimo rūmai, the Lithuanian state assay office, under order 4819767.

3. ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once your purchase is finalised, we will send a confirmation email to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure your contact and shipping details are accurate before completing your order. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 1 hour, contact us at info@loretana.com before placing a duplicate order.

4. PRICING & PAYMENT

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. All prices displayed include applicable VAT. There are no hidden fees added after checkout.

Standard shipping rates are as follows:

Lithuania: €2.38 (free on orders over €50)
Latvia: €4.76 (free on orders over €50)
Estonia: €7.15 (free on orders over €50)

5. DELIVERY AREA

We deliver to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia only. All orders are shipped with Omniva to a parcel locker or address of your choice. Orders are dispatched within 1 business day; engraved and personalised orders may take up to 14 business days to dispatch.

6. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

You have the right to return or exchange your order within 30 days of receiving it. This exceeds the 14-day right of withdrawal granted under EU consumer law.

Returns are free of charge when sent via an Omniva Parcel Machine using the 6-digit return code supplied with your delivery.
Items must be unworn, in original condition, and returned in their original packaging.
Pierced earrings (studs, hoops and hooks) cannot be returned or exchanged for health and hygiene reasons once dispatched. Detachable elements of interchangeable earring sets may be exchanged; the pierced base may not.
Engraved, personalised and bespoke items cannot be returned, as they are made to your individual specification. This exclusion is provided for under EU consumer law.
Both exclusions are lifted if the item arrives defective or damaged.

7. 24-MONTH WARRANTY

Every LORETANA piece is protected by a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering structural, manufacturing and craftsmanship defects. This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights under EU consumer law.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, gradual thinning of rhodium or gold plating, oxidation, or damage caused by accidents, improper storage or chemical exposure. To make a claim, email info@loretana.com with your order number and a clear photo of the issue.

8. INCORRECT OR FAULTY DELIVERY

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, contact us immediately at info@loretana.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will dispatch the correct item or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs, imagery, content and intellectual property on this website are owned by Loretana, MB. Unauthorised use, reproduction or commercial use of our content is prohibited without explicit written consent.

10. DATA PRIVACY

We collect only the personal data necessary to process your order and deliver your jewelry. We never store payment data and will never sell your personal information. Data is shared only with trusted logistics and payment partners required to fulfil your order. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.

11. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be submitted to the competent courts of Lithuania.

As a consumer in the European Union, you may also refer a dispute to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba) at www.vvtat.lt.
